HYLJE Thermal Rating is referential. Remember to wear baselayer and midlayer according to current weather conditions. The colder the weather the warmer the underwear. We also suggest that you keep in mind in which kind of conditions you are using the overall to choose right kind of product to your purposes. Breathability rate is announced to functional fabrics which keep the water outside but still let the humidity fade away. There are a few different standards to rate breathability. HYLJE rating can be compared to ASTM E96BW-1995 standard. Grams refer to the amount of humidity which penetrates the laminated fabric in the area of one square meter during 24 hours. The bigger the rate, the more the laminate transfers humidity from inside the gartment to outside of it.
1/4: breathability minimum of 4.000 g/m2/ 24 h: product has low breathability and is suitable for very light exercise.
All HYLJE products marked with drop symbols are water proof. The level of water resistance is indicated with water column. It determines how big pressure of water mass you can suspend over the fabric before it starts to leak. Please notice that the taping of seams and carrying a backbag, for example, also affect to the water resistance of the product.

HYLJE Professional is a professional-grade ice fishing overall, specifically designed for ice fishing and other cold-weather tasks such as reindeer herding and snowmobiling. The extended back section provides extra warmth while sitting, and the breathable polyamide outer fabric is highly resistant to abrasion, repels water and dirt, and remains flexible even in extreme cold. This overall is exceptionally warm and allows for multiple layers underneath if needed. Detachable suspenders ensure a great fit and allow the upper section to be lowered indoors. The elastic waistband in the back and the quick-lock half-belt enhance comfort and usability. Practical pocket solutions make the Professional highly functional: it includes two upper and two lower pockets, warming pockets with snap flaps, and two zippered inner chest pockets. The wind-protected structure of the warming pockets keeps hands warm, while gloves can be easily slipped into the pockets when needed.
Comfort is further enhanced by an adjustable hood with back strap and front drawstrings for a snug fit. The hood’s brim and Velcro fastening provide protection against wind and snow, while elastic cuffs allow for easy use of mittens. Long, two-way leg zippers improve ventilation, make dressing easier, and ensure a snug fit over boots with the help of snow locks.
Designed for ice fishers, HYLJE Professional includes loops for ice picks and non-slip reinforcements on the shoulders to keep gear secure while moving. Foam reinforcements in the seat, knees, and elbows provide comfort and protection, while reflective elements on the legs and cuffs ensure visibility in the dark.
