HYLJE Thermal Rating is referential. Remember to wear baselayer and midlayer according to current weather conditions. The colder the weather the warmer the underwear. We also suggest that you keep in mind in which kind of conditions you are using the overall to choose right kind of product to your purposes. Choose your overall by estimating how actively you will move wearing it.

Breathability rate is announced to functional fabrics which keep the water outside but still let the humidity fade away. There are a few different standards to rate breathability. HYLJE rating can be compared to ASTM E96BW-1995 standard. Grams refer to the amount of humidity which penetrates the laminated fabric in the area of one square meter during 24 hours. The bigger the rate, the more the laminate transfers humidity from inside the gartment to outside of it.
1/4: breathability minimum of 4.000 g/m2/ 24 h: product has low breathability and is suitable for very light exercise.
All HYLJE products marked with drop symbols are water proof. The level of water resistance is indicated with water column. It determines how big pressure of water mass you can suspend over the fabric before it starts to leak. Please notice that the taping of seams and carrying a backbag, for example, also affect to the water resistance of the product.

The materials of HYLJE Polar C are of extremely high quality, ensuring that with proper care and maintenance, it withstands heavy use for an exceptionally long time. The fabric of the Polar C remains flexible and soft even in extreme cold. The overall features long zipper pulls, making it easy to use even with gloves on. The two-way front zipper enhances usability, and on sunny spring days, it can be opened under the front flap to allow ventilation during breaks. A strong zipper and a roomy fit ensure that the overall remains in good condition even with frequent safari use.
In severe cold, the front flap keeps the wind out, and the warm inner collar material feels pleasant against the skin. Inside pockets keep phones and other small essentials secure and batteries charged. The thigh pockets provide a convenient place to store gloves while capturing landscapes with a camera or simply pausing to enjoy the peace of nature.
Safety has not been forgotten in the design of Polar C. That’s why there is a D-ring at the waist for a snowmobile emergency switch. An elastic waistband keeps the overall well-fitted, and if needed, an additional belt can be attached through the belt loops for extra adjustment. Visibility is ensured with reflective bands across the sleeves, back, and chest. The cuffs feature ribbed inner sleeves, making it easy to pull mittens over them.
The wearer of Polar C stays warm, thanks to its foam padding, which provides excellent insulation against cold and moisture. Long leg zippers make it easier to put on boots or other high-top footwear. Additionally, the legs have snow gaiters to prevent snow from getting into boots while walking in deep snow. HYLJE Polar C also features a fixed hood that can be adjusted with a drawstring.
