HYLJE Polar C Northern Lights Junior is a vibrant, retro-style, warm, and durable winter overall for children. It is the kids’ version of the HYLJE Polar C Northern Lights overall, featuring all the same great qualities but adapted to meet children’s clothing safety standards.

HYLJE Thermal Rating is referential. Remember to wear baselayer and midlayer according to current weather conditions. The colder the weather the warmer the underwear. We also suggest that you keep in mind in which kind of conditions you are using the overall to choose right kind of product to your purposes. Choose your overall by estimating how actively you will move wearing it.

Breathability rate is announced to functional fabrics which keep the water outside but still let the humidity fade away. There are a few different standards to rate breathability. HYLJE rating can be compared to ASTM E96BW-1995 standard. Grams refer to the amount of humidity which penetrates the laminated fabric in the area of one square meter during 24 hours. The bigger the rate, the more the laminate transfers humidity from inside the gartment to outside of it.
1/4: breathability minimum of 4.000 g/m2/ 24 h: product has low breathability and is suitable for very light exercise.
All HYLJE products marked with drop symbols are water proof. The level of water resistance is indicated with water column. It determines how big pressure of water mass you can suspend over the fabric before it starts to leak. Please notice that the taping of seams and carrying a backbag, for example, also affect to the water resistance of the product.

HYLJE Polar C Northern Lights Junior is designed for the best moments of winter, whether it’s skiing, playing in the snow, or a winter safari. The overall has been tested for durability and comfort, and its outer fabric is lightweight, flexible, and waterproof. The seat and back thigh areas are reinforced with black fabric to protect against wear.
The loose fit allows for warm layers underneath, and the front flap with Velcro fastening keeps the cold out. The soft inner lining of the collar feels pleasant against the skin. Long zippers on the legs make dressing easier, and the snow locks at the leg openings prevent snow from getting inside the overall.
Versatile details ensure functionality
The overall includes an inner pocket for storing essentials such as a phone, keys, or a ski pass. Larger sizes (over 140 cm) also feature a D-ring for a snowmobile emergency stop switch, adding extra safety. Safety and visibility are a priority, with reflective strips on the legs, sleeves, back, and shoulders.
The hood has an adjustable drawstring for a customizable fit, and an optional raccoon dog fur trim can be purchased separately. This overall is a reliable choice for all winter conditions, keeping children warm and happy.
